Sandbach Voices, together with Malbank School, presented a very successful Choral Extravagancia on Saturday 6 May at St. Michael's Church, Coppenhall. Francis Cummings conducted the choirs from Malbank School singing Vivaldi's Gloria.
Following this, Sandbach Voices (conducted by Martin Cook) lead choirs from Malbank School in a performance of John Rutter's, Mass of the Children with the South Cheshire Symphonia Orchestra.
We played to a full house and it was standing room only for this, the final concert of a very successful season. Singing with this wonderful Children's choir was a fitting close to our festival season.
Sandbach Voices always welcome new singers, men or women. There is no audition, all you need is a love of music. Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening at 7:30pm in the Hancock Hall at the rear of Wheelock Methodist Church.
