Abi was a healthy teenager; full of enthusiasm for everything she did. She attended Malbank School and Sixth Form College, Nantwich and, in February 2007, was appearing in the school production 'Wizard of Oz', which was playing for one week. She came home on the Wednesday evening, after the show, complaining of a headache, which resulted in a brain haemhorrage. Unfortunately, after several life threatening operations, Abi has been left with many disabilities - but we are hoping that with all the loving care she receives, she will gradually improve.
Abi was also a member of the St Mary's, Acton, singing group for a number of years. She is much loved by the church congregation and remembered also for her cake stalls; Abi was raising funds for a school trip to Tanzania, which was taking place in June 2007 when she was taken ill.
